My brief introduction to my journey as a software engineer.
Who Am I?
Som Athghara
I am an aspiring Cloud & DevOps Engineer with practical, self-taught experience across AWS, Azure, Linux, Docker, and CI/CD, plus Storage Administration skills spanning SAN/NAS provisioning, NFS, iSCSI, and LVM disk management. A BCA graduate from Sri Sri University, Cuttack, I built most of my cloud and infrastructure skills independently while studying, working through real projects rather than just coursework.
My projects range from an end-to-end CI/CD pipeline on AWS to a cloud-native microservices platform on EKS, and SAN/iSCSI and NAS storage simulations with Prometheus and Grafana monitoring, alongside SQL and Excel-driven data analytics dashboards and responsive web applications built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I am currently focused on landing a fresher role in Cloud/DevOps, Storage Administration, or Data Analytics, and I enjoy building practical automation tools — including my own job-search tooling stack — along the way.
